Since all of our sharing services are not automated, we have to expect some downtime for certain activities to be completed. These activities can include computer updates, personnel switch-off, and activity regulation. Computer updates are just that, computer updates. These updates need to be completed about once per week for security purposes. Personnel switch-offs are done from shift to shift and happen regularly. This switch-off takes about 15 minutes. Activity regulation or a “Cool Down” period is done so that there is not too much activity going on at any given time. Too much activity within a certain time frame (we’re not sure what that time frame is) can result in your account ending in what is colloquially called “Sharing Jail”. If your account ends up in Sharing Jail, it will be barred from doing such activities like self-sharing. We’ve been in this situation before, and we’re really good at staying out of it.
